WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (June 18, 2025) – After a month-long break for the GTD class in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Wright Motorsports is back in action this weekend at the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen. Drivers Adam Adelson, Elliott Skeer, and Tom Sargent will reunite behind the wheel of the No. 120 Porsche 911 GT3 R.
For this round, the Wright Motorsports Porsche will swap its familiar green and yellow livery for a bold blue wrap, returning to the look the team debuted at the 2024 Rolex 24 At Daytona during the filming of the new F1 movie, set to hit theaters on June 27. In the film, Wright Motorsports appears as “Chip Hart Racing,” the fictional team for which Brad Pitt’s character competes. During the Rolex 24, the team dedicated additional hours after each race day to shoot scenes for the film, while also capturing in-race footage. Both drivers and crew took part in the production and will be treated to a private screening of the movie this weekend at Watkins Glen.
On track, Adelson, Skeer, Sargent, and the team will be aiming for redemption after last year’s heartbreak at The Glen. Despite a promising run in the 2024 edition of the six-hour race, a red flag late in the race led to a drive time infraction, relegating the team from a second-place finish to 19th in class.
They’ll look to rewrite that story on Sunday, June 22, with the green flag set to drop at 12:30 PM ET. The race will be broadcast live on NBC, with full radio coverage of every on-track session available at IMSARadio.com. For additional event details, visit IMSA.com.

Watkins Glen was a heartbreaker for us last year, as we had the performance to be on the top step but were caught out with the drive time penalty due to the red flag. This time around feels like a shot at redemption, and I know the whole team is hungry for it. I've improved massively as a driver since then, and my teammates have been performing incredibly this year, which gives me a lot of confidence going into this event. Also, I'm super excited to be repping the Chip Hart livery a year and a half since we participated in the movie filming at Daytona! I'll miss our stunning green and yellow livery, but I'm eager to be able to represent what is shaping up to be such an incredible and highly anticipated film.
Elliott Skeer
Great to be back in the endurance mindset again. Watkins has traditionally not been a strong place for Porsche, but I believe we started to buck that trend last year with a very strong performance on track. On top of that, the torque sensors should prove to be both new challenges and opportunities, which I feel very confident about with our team and drivers. It will surely be a full push by all three of us, and I have zero doubt we will be confident in our performances. As always, just grateful for the chance to go win at the Glen!
Tom Sargent
The 6 Hour of the Glenn has been one of the endurance events I have been looking forward to the most. I remember coming here in 2023 in my first year in Carrera Cup. Seeing the event, driving the track, and just thinking this would be such a great race to compete in. It's been a while now since my last race with the team so I'm very excited to get back into it with them and hopefully bring some more success.
